What Will You Learn in CCMCC’s Vocational Nursing Program?
CCMCC’s Vocational Nursing program is offered in person at the Antioch, California campus and combines classroom education with hands-on technical training. At CCMCC, students develop the skills needed to provide basic nursing care, administer medications, document patients’ signs and symptoms, and perform therapeutic and rehabilitative measures. Students also receive clinical training, providing opportunities to develop and practice their skills in healthcare environments.
CCMCC is accredited by the Accrediting Council for Continuing Education & Training (ACCET), an accrediting agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education. All CCMCC students have access to the Career Services department, which provides career-focused support as students prepare to transition from training into the workforce.

CCMCC’s Vocational Nursing program is designed to be completed in as few as 52 weeks, providing a focused path for students who want to prepare for a nursing career. Upon successful completion of the program, graduates receive a Certificate of Completion and are prepared to take the NCLEX-PN examination for Vocational Nurse licensure.
