Bay Area Rescue Mission

Bay Area Rescue Mission operates 24/7 to offer emergency shelter, meals, and support services for individuals and families experiencing homelessness. They serve men, women, and children, and also run a longer-term life transformation program that helps participants rebuild their lives through job training, counseling, and case management.

Calli House

Calli House provides a drop-in center and emergency shelter for youth ages 18–24 in Contra Costa County. It’s a youth-focused resource offering immediate access, basic needs support, and referrals to longer-term housing solutions.

Coordinated Outreach Referral and Engagement (CORE) 

CORE is a county outreach effort that connects people experiencing homelessness with services, including housing referrals and engagement with homeless support systems. They coordinate entry into the regional homeless services network to help individuals find shelter and stay connected to resources.

2-1-1 Contra Costa

Dialing 2-1-1 Contra Costa links you to a free, 24/7 referral line that connects you to local emergency shelters, transitional housing, and other essential resources in your area.

GRIP Family Emergency Shelter/CARE Center

GRIP operates an emergency family shelter in Richmond, offering short-term housing to families in crisis while they work on securing more stable living arrangements.
